Totally different from the 2009 vintage, all the fruit for the 2010 Foyt Family Chardonnay was sourced from sustainable vineyards in the Carneros region of Sonoma County. It has developed a balance of citrus and tropical notes with subtle nuttiness and creamy notes as well. The aroma of the wine is appealing and yet delicate with hints of pear, apple and peach as well as citrus notes of lemon, orange and perhaps tangerine with a touch of vanilla oak.
