Our 2011 Napa Valley Ella’s Blend is composed of 70% Merlot and 10% each of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. This Bordeaux style blend has flavors and aromas of cherries, blackberries and plums with a hint of spice and a smooth lingering finish accented with dusty tannins.
Aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels for sixteen months, a limited amount of 230 cases were bottled. The perfect accompaniment to grilled meats, hearty pastas and stews, our Ella’s Blend is dedicated to Bruce’s faithful and lovable Giant Alaskan Malamute who passed away in 2010.
