The palate highlights the red cherry and raspberry components along with notes of spice and minerality. These characteristics are accented by bright acidity, integrated tannin and structure. The elegant but generous mouth feel exhibits a rich velvety texture that coats the mouth and lingers on to a long layered finish brilliantly incorporating all of the component elements. As with all Transformations that preceded the 2009, the breath on the palate exhibits the distinctive character of the vineyard’s Merlot and is an extraordinary expression of the blend.
