Deep, saturated ruby-garnet hue. Jammy blackberry and mineral aromas show lots of ripeness. A weighty entry leads a robust, full-bodied palate with supple tannins and very ripe fruit driven flavors. Lengthy, chocolaty finish.

Winemaker Alison Doran - I had intended to make a 100% Petit Verdot and it was nice. But it sang so much prettier when I added 10% of our ‘Old Vine’ Cabernet Sauvignon to it that we made it a 90/10. It is a feminine Petit Verdot! Denmon Moody tasted in Houston and said it was the best Petit Verdot he had tasted in 28 years!

97 Point Review - Master Sommelier Catherine Fallis Pretty, inviting, and intense, with notes of dark, earthy Ghana chocolate, cherry cobbler, boysenberry, mulberry and strawberry jam, maple syrup, molasses, beef stew, vanilla, Sambuca and spearmint, this complex, layered and rich red wine is full and round on the palate with the intense tannins expected of this varietal. Layers of silk and juicy acidity weave in and out, bringing balance, and the finish is a mouthwatering infusion of blackberry and dark chocolate with a back note of tar.
