Murviedro, ‘Muri Veteres’ gets its name from the ancient walls that surround the old town that bore witness to an ancient spirit which, event today, wanders through the caves and cellars.Luna de Murviedro Rosé is the first cava rosé made by Bodegas Murviedro. Cava Brut is made from the grape variety Garnacha grown in the vineyards of Requena on the best quality soils that enjoy long hours of sunshine to reach optimum ripeness.

The finest Garnacha grapes are harvested at the beginning of September. Cold maceration in apneumatic press. Fementation at 14ºC in stainless steel tanks. In January a process called ‘tijaje’takes place where the new wine is bottled and the second fermentation occurs in the bottle. The Cava is stored in ‘rima’, special containers for holding the bottles in position, for 9 months.

Appearance: Thick mousse of fine well integrated bubbles. Colour: Deep bronze tinged. Aroma: Fresh with aromas of ripe red fruits. Taste: Light crisp, fresh with good acity and fruity finish.
