Los Chamizal Vineyards are situated in the mountains of southern Sonoma County. It’s a beautiful terraced vineyard, carved into steeply sloping hillsides reaching 800 ft. in elevation into the Mayacamas mountain range. The vineyard has a warm climate through the day, with the vines enjoying cooler evening air which preserves higher acidity levels. These grapevines have struggled to grow for years - and that’s a good thing! The yield is low with concentrated flavors.

Muscardini Cellars is a small artisan winery located in Sonoma’s Valley of the Moon. Winemaker Michael Muscardini is a graphic designer by trade with winemaking in his blood. His grandfather entered the United States at Ellis Island in 1909 from Asti, Italy. He and his brothers made their way to San Francisco for work. And ultimately, started selling bulk wine to city markets. Michael’s “second career” is now a full time job. He’s a gifted winemaker to follow for single vineyard wines from the Sonoma Valley.
