Hewn from the southwest slope of the famed Mayacamas Mountain Range (in the indigenous vernacular “call of the mountain lion”). The Zinfandel grape has found a perfect complement of terroir in the newly anointed AVA Moon Mountain District. This wine is a rugged expression of a heritage varietal generous in flavor, an iconic, exotic, brambly garrigue not for the timid or the faint of heart.

The wine greets you with aromas of red fruit. On the palate you will find cherries and red currants, redolent of raspberry framboise, with maple syrup overtones. Firm tannins and racy acidity lead to a layered, spicy finish.
