The wine is deep purple in colour and shows red fruit (strawberry) on the nose. As is typical for right-bank Bordeaux from the 2015 vintage, we have a bold expression of Merlot on the palate here, with a mouthfeel that is both fleshy and silky. This wine will make a particularly good accompaniment to less intensely flavoured meats and poultry - rabbit, turkey or chicken for example - and will, of course, go well with cheese.
