“The Other Great Wine from Clinet”

Clinet works with a selection of wine-growers to compose this original wine, including Château Clinet. The vinification and ageing are carried out by the same team and with as much attention as for the ‘Grand Vin’.

By Clinet was first released in 2006 as Fleur de Clinet, artfully blending the three different types of terroir that characterize Pomerol. Ageing is in 5% new and 95% second-fill barrels brings out the freshness and finesse of the aromas.

A bright ruby colour, the nose opens with scents of forest fruits, blackberries, liquorice and bergamot. On the palate, the fruit remains fresh and vibrant. Notes of oriental spices, plum and brown sugar bring intensity to the finish. Framed by fine and soft tannins, By Clinet is a perfect wine to enjoy within the next 10 years.
