The 2015 Petit Verdot is a mouthful. The wine has a beautiful, inky color which is a testament to the extraction achieved through fermentation. This wine has plum and cherry notes, balanced by dark chocolate. The weight and richness of this wine are unrivaled by most. Enjoy this wine for many years to come.

The 2015 vintage started earlier than normal due to warm temperatures in the early spring, but cold temperatures in May caused an uneven fruit set, resulting in smaller crops and lower yields. Consistently high temperatures through the rest of the growing season led to one of the earliest harvests on record, with most of the fruit off the vines by the end of September. Overall, the fruit quality was high. There were no rain events or cool offs during the peak of harvest, which allowed for clean, ripe fruit and ultimately beautiful tasty wines.
