This wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, hand-harvested on October 14, 2018, from the Relyea-Wood Estate and on November 3 from the nearby Betchart Vineyard, both sites are off of Montebello Road, the latter being higher elevation. Yeast fermentation and malolactic conversion were followed by 21 months in French oak barrels, 2/3 of which were new. This is a full-bodied rustic mountain Cabernet Sauvignon with flavors of blackberry, black current, and anise. Only 75 cases were made.
