A full-bodied wine with flavors of currant, plum, black cherry, and spice with notes of green olive. Lengthy barrel aging in French Oak has softened the tannins and added cedar and vanilla notes. Pronounced tannins make this a dry wine with fresh berries front of mouth, spices & cinnamon mid-palate, and a nice fruity finish. Complimented by sautéed shrimp over fresh Filet Mignon with a butter-cream sauce on a bed of pasta.
