The 1/2 acre estate vineyard at the winery was planted in 2005. The hand-picked grapes travel only a few feet from the vineyard to the winery for processing–no ‘freeway wine’ here.

The vines are 80% Cabernet Sauvignon (clones 4 and 337), 10% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Merlot. Following fermentation and barrel aging, we blend the wine from these grapes to make the best possible Cabernet. Red French poppies and crimson clover are used in alternate rows as cover crops that contribute nutrients to the soil.
