Created in a classic “sur lie” style this is not a girly chardonnay. The grapes were left on the vine until the last possible moment to collect the ripest fruit and complex flavors that only can come from hang-time. Then we fermented the wine in oak stirring the lees to ensure maximum contact with the yeast. The resulting wine is tropical on the nose, with a full mouthfeel of creamy lemon meringue and a finish of toasted crème brûlée.
