Red Wine Guerrilla 2018 Paradise Lane Vineyard RRV Old Vine Zinfandel Fruit-forward and jammy, exactly what you’d expect from an Old Vine Zin, full of vanilla, cocoa, pepper, strawberry, and pepper. It will pair great with Hawaiian BBQ beef and grilled pineapple with a teriyaki glaze. For dessert, pair with artisanal dark chocolate.
White Stéphane Ogier 2014 ‘Viognier de Rosine’ IGP Collines Rhodaniennes The nose was highly expressive, showing pear, peach, kiwi, spice, and exotic florals. Lifted on the palate, with ripe stone fruits and masses of inner floral tones. The finish was long and floral (flower petals) with peach skins and hints of spice.
Sparkling Wine Spies Brut Sparkling
TWS’s sparkling is as bright and bubbly as we are! Effervescence leaps from the surface of this gorgeous golden wine. The bubbles carry a refreshing aroma upwards of green apples, orange blossom honey, pear and elderflower.
Rose IND ‘Influencer’ Rosé of Cinsault 100% pure saignée Cinsault. Let’s just say we’re hashtag obsessed. It’s surprisingly complex, ripe, and downright gulpable. Loaded with sweet watermelon, just ripe strawberries, and a zippy acidity that keeps it moving.
Dessert “Chateau Ste. Michelle 2014 ‘Eroica’ Riesling Ice Wine 375ml” Frozen grapes were picked at 34 degrees Brix. The hard, frozen grapes were pressed immediately to release only the sweet, concentrated juice, while the water stays behind in the form of ice. The Eroica Riesling Ice Wine is an exotic, luscious, ultra-ripe wine with concentrated aromas and flavors of apricot and honey.
Fortified Wolf’s Head ‘Iberian Ruby’ Port Blend 500ml The 2013 Wolf’s Head Iberian Ruby is a fortified red wine created from a blend of grapes from the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) including Touriga Nacional, Souzão, and Bastardo. Deep aromas of currants, blackberries, cherries, and spice. The palate is all about figs, blackberry compote, cherries, and plum pudding with enough acidity to make the fruit and spice sing.
