Inspired by a small family property in the south of France, L Pitchoune means “the little one”. The name speaks to the small production, small lots, and the idea that our small size is our greatest asset. At La Pitchoune, we prize the exceptional care we can apply to our craft. By combining passion, art, and science, we ensure that each blend is expressed to its fullest potential.

Hazy golden-yellow in color, aromas of tangerine oil, Meyer lemon blossom, green apple skin, and yeasted dough are highlighted by an underlying flinty, smoky component. Rich flavors of ripe Gravenstein apples, lemon curd tartlet, and roasted hazelnuts coalesce on a lingering, minerality-marked finish. Drinking well now, but expect this wine to improve drastically with another 6 to 12 months of cellaring. This wine should provide 5-8 years of extraordinary drinking experiences.
