The near-perfect 2018 growing season started a little later than typical, saw ideal weather conditions through a mild and moderate summer. The steady and moderate season allowed the fruit to develop slowly and steadily, with lower sugar accumulation at ripeness which maintained nice acidity. The wines display ripe fruit, great structure and balance. It is vintages like 2018 when we make Single Vineyard wines from the best blocks in the vineyards.

Our 2018 is a proprietary blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, aged for 26 months in French Oak 1/3 new. Deep garnet-purple in color the nose is filled with beguiling nuances of candied violets, cedar chest, blackberry & black cherry with hints of licorice and spice. Medium to full bodied, the palate has elegance, grace and depth, revealing loads of black fruit and earthy layers with a firm, finely grained texture finishing with epic length.
