The name Perry’s Blend (originally called Proprietary Red) was conferred by Robert Parker during one of his tasting sessions, and the Butlers took to the designation.

Dark ruby in color. Rich dark fruit, black cherry, currant, and chocolate. Great depth of dark fruit, the sweetness of dark cheery, spice, integrated oak, chocolate with a nice brightness in the finish.Long finish of cherry and spice.

The 2018 Perry’s Blend is a deep garnet-purple colored and reveals fragrant Black cherry with touches of Cedar and Lavender flavors framed by French oak in this ripe, fruit forward wine. The palate is full-bodied and boldly fruited with a firm, velvety frame and a very long, multilayered finish
