The Zuger family purchased Château Malescot Saint-Exupéry in 1955, and is today run single-handedly by Jean-Luc Zuger who also makes the wine. The date of the harvest was one of the crucial factors with 2018 Margaux. Some estates began picking their young vines as early as September 12. Harvesting finished as late as October 15.
