The Chardonnay for this wine is sourced from the old vines of the Rued Vineyard located in the Green Valley region of Russian River. These rare 50+ year old vines are dry farmed and planted in Goldridge soils.

The 2021 Russian River growing season was generally mild throughout the year and produced a smaller crop but wines with long aging potential.
