This single vineyard Chardonnay from our Estate vineyard on the Sonoma side of Carneros was intended to be released in celebration of Mother’s Day last year, however, the wine took longer than expected to go through malolactic fermentation, so we let it make itself, and be ready for this year’s!
According to Wine Folly, “Chardonnay is now the most widely planted white grape variety, globally. Oaked Chardonnays are rich and full-bodied and often have additional oak-aged flavors of vanilla, baking spices, or butter. Flavors range from tropical (think pineapple or mango) in warm climate regions, to leaner, green apple and citrus in cooler climates.”
