The 2019 year started with copious rainfall. The long, warm summer saw very few extreme heat events, with foggy mornings setting the stage for vibrant and expressive wines. The long, relatively mild finish to the season, not without its moments of unpredictability, helped to preserve freshness and finesse in the fruit with abundant hang time teasing out great color, structure and soft tannins. Volume is looking to be about average to a little less than average. All in all, exceptional fruit with bright acidity and ample texture promises an amazing vintage.

Our Beryl Vineyard is located in Rutherford, Napa Valley, one of the most prestigious regions to grow a Cabernet Sauvignon. It is wonderfully balanced and ready to drink now, or will continue to develop over the next 5 years. It was aged 18 months in French oak barrels to create a beautifully balanced and complete wine. Neighbored by some prestigious wineries, this vineyard truly produces phenomenal grapes.

A beautiful deep ruby in hue, this wonderful Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon perfectly illustrates the elegant region of Rutherford. The wine offers a polished and alluring palate full of plum, dark maraschino cherry, roasted coffee bean, tobacco leaf, bergamot tea and subtle vanillin braced by a backbone of supple, dusty tannins. True to form, this wine displays the power and elegance that is so characteristic of cabs from Rutherford.
