What a vintage full of suspense for our vineyard workers, who had to deal with a winter and spring that were both very mild and rainy! Fortunately, warm, sunny weather accompanied their efforts until harvest time. The heat during the first week of picking saw the thermometer easily reach 30°C, resulting in a wonderful concentration of juice in the berries. Didier Thomann, Cellar Master and Bruno Clenet vineyard manager, praised the exceptional quality of the Merlots from the Bolitorte plot, describing them as «racy, generous and opulent». Moreover, the Cabernet Sauvignons from the Gaunettes plot, closest to the estuary, offered this vintage exquisite finesse and elegance.
