Artuke’s first white wine is made with Viura, Malvasia Riojana, and Palomino Fino from three different vineyards over 50 years old on calcareous clay soils. After being hand-harvested, fermentation takes place in stainless steel. The resulting wine is then aged on its lees for 10 months: half in 500-liter French oak barrels, and the other half in concrete.

Trascuevas is a reference to the old caves where white wines, meant to be consumed domestically, were stored. Many of the Rioja families would grow white grapes near the home to make wine for personal consumption.

Grapes destemmed and pressed to carry out the subsequent settling of the must. Fermentation takes place in a stainless steel tank. It is aged on lees for 10 months: half is aged in 500-litre French oak barrels and the other half is aged in concrete.
