Our 2020 Siegerrebe is a 99 point winner. A cross of Gewürztraminer and Madeleine Angevine. The classically gorgeous nose of grapefruit from the Gewürz, joined by lavender, white pepper, apricot and mango. Delicate yet juicy, it’s a dry Gewürz lover’s delight.

The variety was created in Rheinhessen in 1929 from a crossing of Gewürztraminer and Madeleine Angevine. It was not officially released until 1958 and was almost immediately used to beef up Rieslings from poor vineyards.
