The 2018 ALCHEMY Russian River Valley is a celebratory cuvée that we blended from special barrel selections of our Sonoma County Russian River Valley vineyards. The goal is to represent this iconic vintage and the unique terroir of the Russian River Valley. With a little more new French oak than we might normally put on a Pinot Noir, we barrel age ALCHEMY for 2 years and then bottle age for an additional 2 years before release.

With an eye towards solid structure and tannin balanced with acidity, this wine is intentionally crafted to age well and be increasingly enjoyable for a decade plus. As primarily makers of small production vineyard designate Pinot Noir, ALCHEMY is an exercise in blending together something that is more than the sum of its parts. As a result, we only make it from the best vintages and only when we can find the right blend where the magic happens.
