“Château Couhins is one of those rare places that can produce white wines that will stand the test of time.” - Denis Dubourdieu
Hailing from an exceptional clay-limestone hillside, Château Couhins is characterized by its freshness, elegance, purity, complexity, and minerality. We harvest our grapes at optimal maturity in order to elevate the signature Sauvignon Blanc within our whites, with an aromatic palette that is rich in citrus, white peach, exotic fruit, and floral notes. The salinity present on the finish gives an almost infinite persistence to this wine. Perfect wine pairings include spider crab, sea bream fillet, Pierre Gagnaire’s liebig, Pyrenean goat’s cheese, Comté, or Saint-Nectaire. Will age gracefully for over a decade.
