The 2023 Personify is sourced from four Vineyards. La Cantera Vineyard from the Chehalem Mountain AVA provides opulent black fruit. The field blend of clones from Filament Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills contributes acidity and elegance. Bednarik Vineyard’s old vine, own-rooted, Pommard and Wadenswil, bestows savory notes and power. Finally, the 114 clone from Robinson Vineyard on the Willamette Valley’s northern edge brings elegance.

The nose of the 2023 PROJECT M Personify Pinot Noir shows aromas of black cherry and purple flowers with hints of pipe tobacco and forest floor. It enters the mouth sleek and smooth with a pure, glass-like surface. Clear and pure cherry flavors fill the mid-palate as hints of chamomile, black tea, and baking spice vie for attention. The tannins are round and sweet, hardly showing themselves until the finish, as cherry and pomegranate flavors linger.
