North Valley wines are often vinified using a percentage of whole clusters in the fermentations. For this bottling approximately 25% whole bunches were included. The resulting wine displays a beautiful perfume of high toned red fruits and spice. On the palate both red and dark berry flavors are found with an echo of the brown spices in the aroma profile. Entry is at once rich and juicy, then the wine reveals good drive, ample density, fine structure and purity.
