Aegrina Vineyard is one of two estate sites owned by North Valley Vineyards. Located in the McMinnville AVA in the foothills of the Coast Range, Aegrina was planted starting in 2007–08, developed under the direction of Lynn Penner-Ash and viticulturalist Joel Myers, who made the clonal selections. The vineyard is characterized by stony, thin soils with low pH, and benefits from the cooling Van Duzer Corridor winds that help preserve acidity and allow for extended hang time.

North Valley’s estate vineyards produce distinctive fruit that contributes depth and complexity to the regional blends. Winemaker James Cahill is a veteran of over 20 harvests in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, with experience at Beaux Frères, Elk Cove, and Soter Vineyards.
