The 2022 Kairos Cabernet spent a little extra time in barrel, bringing out that classic Napa character. You’ll catch graphite, green olive, orange peel, hint of coconut, along with warm hints of cassis, allspice, pomegranate, and even a touch of tobacco. There’s also a subtle, old-fashioned floral note that might remind you of your grandmother’s violet sweets. The tannins here are beautifully plush, making the whole experience feel smooth and inviting. It’s a wine that reveals its layers gently, encouraging you to savor each sip.
Kairos Vineyard sits right next to our winery, on the border of Napa Valley’s Oak Knoll District—sometimes referred to as the “Silverado” area. The Garvey family named it after the Greek concept of the perfect, decisive moment, a reflection of their commitment to establishing and maintaining an all-organic vineyard. We’re honored that they reserve a premium section of their vines for Judd’s Hill, and we take pride in being the first winery to pick fruit from Kairos each harvest. Try it with a slow-braised lamb shank, where rich, savory flavors mirror the wine’s depth and gentle spice
