The 2022 growing season began with generous winter rains, followed by a cool, dry spring. The weather throughout summer was ideal with no days above 100o F until a significant Labor Day heat event. With strong canopies, plenty of water for irrigation and a cool, high-elevation climate, our vineyards were able to mitigate the heat and produced grapes of exceptional quality and concentration.

This beautifully vibrant expression of mountain-grown Cabernet Franc draws you in with alluring aromas of red currant, plum and cassis, as well as notions of sage, thyme, oak spice and aged tobacco. On the palate, it is refined and impeccably balanced with polished tannins and Bordeaux-like minerality that ames the lavish red and black uit flavors, with lingering hints of barrel toast, black tea and cedar emerging on the long, complex finish.
