The Sojourn Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is a blend of eight unique lots sourced from vineyards spanning the full breadth of the appellation, from Occidental in the north to the Petaluma Gap in the south. Gap’s Crown, Sangiacomo, Rodgers Creek, and Walala Vineyards represent the key components, with Pinot Noir clones 115, 828, 667, Pommard, and Wädenswil 2A each contributing unique elements of texture and flavor to the finished blend.

The 2022 vintage along the Sonoma Coast delivered a warm and early growing season with minuscule yields, as many vineyards broke records on the low side for cluster weights. The resulting wines show concentrated flavors with tension and length, driven by small clusters and tiny berries across the coastal sites that make up this blend.

The 2022 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast was raised in 50% new French oak and was entirely destemmed. Pouring a youthful, ripe ruby color, it is highly aromatic with floral and fruity aromas of sweet cola spice, mixed berries, and preserved flowers. Medium-bodied, it retains good energy and freshness as well as wonderful purity on the palate, with fine tannins and a clean, chalky-textured finish.
