Our Wolf’s Head Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Calistoga region located in the northern part of Napa Valley, home to some of the biggest, boldest wines in the Napa region. The vines are planted in a rich volcanic red soil and the high daytime and cool nighttime temperatures provide for intense colors, rich flavors, a touch of acidity, and a ton of tannic structure in the grapes.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple in color. It bursts with powerful notions of crème de cassis, baked black plums, and chocolate mint with hints of dried Provence herbs and spice box. The full-bodied palate has compelling tension, with a slight chewiness to the tannins and great length.
