We named this special Pinot Noir blend “Fourth Actˮ to commemorate the fourth Pinot Noir brand Greg La Follette has started in his illustrious winemaking career. Flowers, Tandem, Alquimista and now Marchelle. A masterful 2022, consisting entirely of Huichica Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir.

This is our ode to Pinot Noir, an expressive dialogue between vineyard, vintage, and voice. Guided by instinct and native fermentation, winemakers Greg La Follette and Evan Damiano coax out a wine of precision and poise. Dark-fruited and textural, this Carneros expression speaks in whispers and reveals in layers. Aromatics are of black cherry, violet, and forest floor, with silky red fruit, baking spice, and wild herbs on the palate. Finishes long, elegant, and quietly powerful.
