Cannatelli Wines was founded in 2011 by Len and Judy Cannatelli with the acquisition of a small property in the Yountville appellation along the Silverado Trail. Their quarter-acre estate vineyard — originally planted by Joe Wagner of Caymus — sits on benchland soils just below the Silverado Trail, in close proximity to prominent neighboring vineyards including Gemstone, Cliff Lede, and Robert Sinskey. Under the guidance of winemaker Paul Colantuoni, the vineyard was budded over entirely to Cabernet Sauvignon clone 337, and small amounts of fruit from the neighboring Grigsby Vineyard are also incorporated.

A classically proportioned, utterly beautiful Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. A deep, concentrated core of ripe raspberries, fresh cranberries, bright cherries, and spicy red and black currants intertwines seamlessly with charming notes of lavender and spring flowers, a charismatic hint of eucalyptus, and lovely highlights of summer vineyard dust, baking spices, and crushed gravel. Substantial natural acidity from the vineyard gives the flavors a gloriously vibrant, mouth-watering quality, and exquisitely polished tannins carry an elegant finish that seems almost endless.
