This wine has classic Russian River notes of mineral and Golden Delicious apple evolving into hints of roasted bread. The mouth is rich and full-bodies with firm acidity, and the lingering finish is long and seamless. This wine is tasting great now and will develop an outstanding bottle bouquet in the next three to six years.

The Chardonnay grapes for this wine were harvested from the long rows in the west block of Olivet Lane. This area is on a vertical trellis, and numerous hours are spent throughout the season in shoot positioning, hand leafing, and cluster thinning - all key elements in producing quality fruit and flavor development.
