Harvested in the second week in October from the Rydman Family Vineyard in Oakville. This is a big bold wine with loads of black currant, chewy tannins, violets on the nose and cedary undertones. Aged for 2 years in new French Oak, Vitus Cabernet is an example of what Oakville is all about.

The 2010 Oakville Cabernet exhibits dark fruit flavors of cassis and blackberry with a hint of vanilla and anise. It has a long soft finish, is ready to drink and should age five or more years.
