Harvested in mid-October of 2008, this tiny parcel of Cabernet Franc reached an impressive 27.2 Brix sugar content before harvest. Aromatic and herbaceous in a most pleasant way, Cab Franc, as it is affectionately known, is a component of some of the finest Bordeaux wines produced. Grown on Atlas Peak Mountain, high above the fog line, Cab Franc takes on a spicy and intriguing character, with gorgeous purity of fruit and lingering exotic notes of sandalwood and sage.
