In true Bordeaux tradition the vineyard is hand harvested in a single pick, and directly crushed into a single open fermenter. Once fermentation is complete the skins are bucketed by hand to the press, with the wine spending 18 months or more in a mixture of new to 4 year old French oak.

COLOUR Ruby red with Garnet hues NOSE Lifted perfume of rose petals, cedar and cigar box with hints of spearmint, overlaying a heady blend of cinnamon, nutmeg and brown cardamom. PALATE A complex array of pungent herbs leading into a fleshy mid palate of blackcurrant and black cherries. The wine is superbly finished by elegant, structural grape tannins and balanced with subtle integrated oak.
