A bouquet of cassis liqueur,graphite,violets and smoke introduces the wine to bold blackberry,blueberry and plum flavors with subtle spice,tobacco and leather accents giving a supple lush mouthfeel.The finish reveals polished tannins with a perfect balance of vanilla and toasted oak.Our best Cabernet Sauvignon to date.

Having had copious time in the barrel and bottle to come together, this is a uniquely evolved and mature expression of prime Napa Valley fruit. Notes of dark chocolate, cocoa powder, cherry, framboise, cassis, blackberry, raisin, anise, black licorice, maple, molasses, vanilla, walnut, porcini dust, beef stew, cedar, and hay blend together seamlessly. The palate is full, rich, intense, and concentrated with a mid-palate plushness, and there is ample natural acidity for balance. The finish is long and expressive, with notes of dried cherries, crème de cassis, and brown mushrooms. Oak tannins are fully resolved, so the wine is ready to enjoy now, or for years to come.
