It has a beautiful ruby color, aromas that start at a nice balsamic, developing tones of berries (blackberry and raspberry) and wildflowers where the viola is perfectly recognizable. The passage in barrels leaves us a note of vanilla and light toasting. The palate is intense, fresh, fruity but strong, compact and compelling: much in line with the sense of smell. It goes well with succulent meats, roasts and aged cheeses.
