Selected one barrel at a time, the 2011 Kenwood Reserve Zinfandel is the ultimate expression of wine from our favorite lots of the vintage. The vineyards used to make the blend are located in the Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys with a small amount of the fruit coming from a hillside vineyard in Lake County’s High Valley appellation.
Before bottling, Syrah from the Sonoma Valley was added to the blend to give the resulting wine more character and backbone.
