The wine has characteristic notes of quince, melon, dried apple, heading into nutmeg, and wildflower honey, with a touch of sun-kissed straw and eucalyptus flower.

There is the faintest note of chaparral aromas (likely from the surrounding native California arid mountain foliage). The entry starts off bright and lively, moving quickly to a round pallet, reminiscent of Agave nectar, followed by a long finish.

This wine will pair well with anything from creamy cheese and rich pasta dishes to fresh seafood and crisp salads. Serve between 45-55 degrees. Like the great chardonnays of the world, it is built to age at least 10 years.
