The 2014 Ribeiro is bright and light cherry red with a ruby edge showing its youth. The nose is of red fruit, cherry, smoke and balsamic aromas with dry stone and white pepper. A fresh, acidic, silky and expressive palate with a salty touch.
Pair with soft aromatic cheeses such as middle-aged Camembert or Galician Tetilla cheese - chocolate cherry tru es or 50% dark chocolate with sea salt - Octopus, seafood, roasted vegetables, soft meat stews, omelettes, pasta and rice.
