Bright and fragrant red cherry, pomegranate and cinnamon spice on the nose continues with a hint of smoky vanilla and crushed strawberries. On the palate the Pip Pinot Noir is medium-bodied with full, ripe tannins and flavors of tangy black cherry with a juicy finish.

The 2013 Pip Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is from two Sonoma Coast vineyard sources. One vineyard source represents 67% of the blend and was fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks with some stirring. the other 33% of the blend was transferred to neutral oak barrels just after fermentation. We blended together the entire lot about 3 months before bottling.
