I am totally over the moon about today’s wine. We’ve featured the wines of Australia’s Brothers In Arms winery in the past, and those have all been in the $50 to $75 range.

Today’s 2012 Killibinbin Metala Vineyards “Scream” Shiraz is just $22.99, which is 34% off - and a total steal.

This wine is bold, bawdy, rich, hearty and downright delicious. James Halliday’s 94 point score is well deserved, but we think that the wine scores even higher. If Agent Red were to score the wine, he’d give it “… an easy 96 points”. In fact, he’s called dibs on any left over at the end of our sale. He plans to buy it all up for himself, he loves it that much!

Dark, dusty, dirty and delectable on the nose, with rich layers of pleasing aromas. Stewed plum, blackberry jam, blueberry compote, smoky black cherry, cedar plank, dried earth, burnt pencil shavings, spice and piquant black pepper.

Be prepared to be bowled over by the richness of this incredible wine. Stewed mixed fruit of blackberry, black cherry, plum and blueberry meld with dark toast, black licorice, savory herb, tar (in a great way!), mixed spice and subtle black pepper.
