Giocato Merlot is for coastal Tuscan Merlot what Giocato Pinot Grigio is for Friuli/Slovenian Pinot Grigio – bright, expressive, piercingly clean and varietally proper, with generous fruits, spices and acidity to offer an extremely compelling wine.

The vineyards where the grapes are sourced are in the coastal region of Tuscany near Maremma. This has proven to be extremely fine terroir for growing and producing excellent Merlot as the top estates have demonstrated.
