A veritable summer breeze in a bottle, this year’s Beltane Ranch Sauvignon Blanc, the first to sport the historic “Drummond Block” designation, combines the richness of the 2012 with the complexity of the 2013 and then goes on to make a little history of its own.

Freshly cut Bosc pear combine with tangerine peel on the nose, while the mouth is full of ripe cantaloupe and luscious honeysuckle. Full-bodied but very light on its feet, it delivers the complete and balanced glass of wine: tasty, refreshing and versatile.

All the usual suspects will find they’ve met their match here: grilled fish, chicken or fresh vegetables; classic pasta primavera or gourmet mac & cheese; even the best your favorite taco truck has to offer.

Vineyard Notes

Our bright, crisp and full-bodied Sauvignon Blanc is a product of a six generation tradition of sustainable agriculture. Fruit for our Estate Sauvignon Blanc is night harvested by hand from the Drummond Block and whole cluster pressed. It is fermented in a combination of stainless steel tanks and new and neutral French Oak Barrels with no malolactic fermentation, then aged sur lies in barrels.
