Rua is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc from the Carneros and Oak Knoll regions of Napa Valley. It is rich, ripe and full of flavor, yet accessible enough to drink now.

This is a deeply complex, exotic, exciting, rich and layered wine with aromas of crushed cherry, dried herbs, cocoa, rhubarb and rose petals. On the palate it is fresh, vibrant and mouth filling. Tightly wound, with tart cherry, red currants, vanilla and toasty oak(Radoux), developing into a long finish full of fruit and spice.

What’s on top of Rua? Capabunga, that’s what. It’s not just a luxurious alternative to the old tin capsule. It can also be used to re-seal this and most other wine bottles. No more jamming the cork back into the bottle! Made of silicone to resemble the bungs we use in our wine barrels.
